I’ve made it my passion to
empower people to change their
lives for the better.
WELCOME
Have you ever longed for a space where you matter—a space where you can be seen, heard, and understood with gentleness, compassion, and openness?
At Claire Cook Counselling & Psychotherapy, I provide a supportive, non-judgmental environment where we can explore your experiences together. My goal is to help you deepen your understanding of who you are, how you are becoming, and how you relate to the world around you.
Through existential counselling and psychotherapy, we can open up challenges, confusion, and tensions—creating meaningful exploration that can bring clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

GETTING STARTED
How You Will Feel Working With Me
Taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting. To make it easier, I offer a free 30-minute introductory Zoom call. This is an opportunity for you to share what brings you here, ask questions, and experience how it feels to work together.
If you feel nourished, inspired, and valued after our call, we can begin with a block of weekly sessions (usually around five). From there, we can continue for as long as you need.

HOW I CAN HELP
You may wish to begin counselling if life feels:
Overwhelming, confusing, or directionless
Empty, lonely, or lacking meaning
Stuck in cycles of anxiety, low mood, or low self-esteem
Defined by loss, identity struggles, or major life transitions

I work with both young people (18–25 years) and adults
(26 and upwards), offering a space to explore your story, your challenges, and your possibilities.
Some areas I commonly work with include:
Excessive anxiety & stress
Low self-esteem & difficulties with mood
Loss, bereavement & grief
Identity & life transitions
Feelings of emptiness, loneliness, or “being stuck”

LET’S BEGIN
A SPACE TO BE SEEN, HEARD, AND UNDERSTOOD
If you are ready to explore your story and begin the process of understanding, growth, and change, I would love to hear from you.

MY APPROACH
Exploring What It Means to Be Fully Alive
I practice existential psychotherapy and counselling—a therapeutic approach that focuses on your lived experience and how you engage with the world.
Together, we will explore different perspectives, the tensions you may hold, and the challenges you face. This is deep, meaningful work that can help you move towards clarity, openness, and a more purposeful life.
Our professional relationship is at the heart of this work. Through empathy, compassion, and honest exploration, I aim to create a space where you can reconnect with yourself and begin to live more fully.
